Code of Conduct
Last updated · 26 May 2026
Rounds works because golfers trust each other enough to share a round with someone new. This is what we expect from everyone who uses it.
Show up
If you post a seat or ask to join one, treat it as a commitment. Other golfers are planning their round around you. If something changes, cancel as early as you can so the seat can go to someone else. Repeated no-shows are tracked and can lead to removal from Rounds.
Be respectful
Treat other golfers the way you'd want to be treated on the first tee. No harassment, discrimination, hate speech, threats, or abuse — on the course or in chat. Rounds is for everyone who loves the game, regardless of background, ability, or handicap.
Play it straight
Be honest in your profile and your reviews. Don't impersonate anyone, don't post misleading tee times, and don't use Rounds to advertise, scam, or solicit.
Keep it safe
You're meeting other adults in person. Meet at the course, use your judgement, and look out for each other. Rounds is for golf — not for any unlawful or unsafe activity.
Respect the game and the course
Honour the etiquette and rules of the clubs and courses you play. How you behave on the course reflects on every golfer who uses Rounds.
If something goes wrong
If another golfer behaves badly, makes you uncomfortable, or breaks these rules, tell us at hello@rounds.golf. We take reports seriously and review them. We can issue warnings and remove golfers from Rounds, and we will when it's warranted. If you're ever in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first.
Breaking this Code of Conduct can result in losing access to Rounds. We'd rather not — but keeping the community good for everyone comes first.
