About Rounds.

Rounds is a social golf app that helps golfers find playing partners — one round at a time.

The idea is simple. Golfers with a booked tee time and an open seat post it on Rounds. Other golfers nearby see it, ask to join, and the host approves. You meet on the first tee, play eighteen, and more often than not you walk off with someone new to play with again.

We built Rounds because golf is better with company, and because finding people to play with shouldn't depend on already knowing the right members at the right club. A good round is the best introduction there is. We'd rather let friendships form naturally over the course of a round than try to match people on paper before they've hit a single shot.

Rounds is built in Amsterdam and is launching first in the Netherlands, with the rest of Europe to follow. We're currently in beta, which means we're building in the open, listening closely to the golfers using it, and improving quickly.
